An Enigma Called Narendra Modi

The Man, The Myth, Narendra Damodardas Modi

There was a rag of an article which was published in the "The New York Times".

The foreign media has still not understood that they have been completely ignored by the people of Republic of India. Gone are the days when NY Times, BBC and other such medias published twisted articles which became the gospel truth for the world to believe.

In the name of free speech enough damage to democracies around the world has been done by nefarious sections of the society worldwide. The usual modus operandi was to use the media to peddle the lies. Fortunately with social media now the people can read different content to verify the truth.

In context to the article "Why Did Modi Call India’s Muslims ‘Infiltrators’? Because He Could" published in The New York Times, let me bring the truth.

Prime Minister Modi did not call the native Muslims of India as Infiltrators as published in the NY Times article. He was largely referring to the Rohingya Muslims who have infiltrated from Burma and the Bangladeshi Muslim migrants who come into India illegally on a regular basis. Unfortunately some political parties in India support this illegal infiltration and want to regularize this practice. These are parties basically who have lost the faith and trust of the people and voters of India. They do this out of compulsion to consolidate the Muslim vote bank. This is all a game of vote bank politics and to appease a certain section of the society.

This retro styled politics has become obsolete in India as the Muslim society has also now understood that they have been betrayed by such political parties. Such parties have only harmed them by peddling fear.

Another section in the NY Times article refers to the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A. It is laughable that if some wrongs of the past are being corrected then what is the hue and cry. India is an independent nation and has full rights to make changes to it's constitution for the safety of the nation. India does not need to take the orders from other nations for it's well-being. The August 5, 2019 momentous decision has also marked a drastic decline in terror activities and nepotism in the Valley. Considerable decline in both recruitment of locals into militancy and killing of terrorists in 2023 compared to previous years is another outcome of the abrogation of Article 370. Kashmir is on the path of development and the ground realities clearly justify that. More can be written on the positive aspects on the abrogation of Article 370 but keeping it concise here. Will certainly write a dedicated detailed article on this very soon.

Also on the enactment of the Citizenship law popularly known as Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), let me be very clear that it is not prejudiced against Muslims. The native Muslim population has nothing to fear. This law was enacted to give citizenship rights to persecuted minorities like Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain's from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. All the 3 countries are Islamic states and the dwindling number of minorities are a proof  for the world to see.

India is shedding its dark colonial past and will certainly not bow to the rule that the "White Man is always right". The wrong history is being corrected and is the need of the hour. Nationalism is at an all time high. India is the fifth largest economy and should be the third largest in the next three year time period. This has all been achieved by the policies of the Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janta Party government.

In summary, The New York Times' article lacks context and understanding of India's current political climate. The Indian government is taking steps to correct past wrongs and protect its citizens, and the country is thriving under nationalist policies.
